1. General Use of Website

1.1 You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.
1.2 We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders that violate these Terms.

2. Products and Listings

2.1 All items sold are pre-owned/second-hand and sold as-is.
2.2 Minor wear and tear are normal and do not qualify as defects.
2.3 Major defects, if any, are disclosed in descriptions and photos.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Prices are in ZAR and exclude/include applicable taxes.
3.2 Payment must be completed before shipping.
3.3 Accepted payment methods: Debit / Credit Card, EFT, Direct Deposit, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

4. Shipping Policy

4.1 Shipping Options

We offer two shipping methods within South Africa:

  • Pudo Locker Shipping – R69

    • Collect your order from a Pudo locker nationwide at your convenience.

    • Delivery time: 2–4 business days from dispatch.

    • You’ll receive a collection PIN via SMS/email.

    • Uncollected items may be returned; re-delivery fees apply.

  • Door-to-Door Shipping – R99

    • Delivered directly to your daytime delivery address.

    • Delivery time: 2–4 business days from dispatch.

    • Someone must be available to sign for the parcel.

    • Failed deliveries may incur additional fees.

4.2 General Shipping Info

  • Orders are processed within 1 business days after payment confirmation.

  • You will receive a tracking number once dispatched.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors.

  • Please ensure your address and contact details are accurate to avoid delays or lost parcels.

5. Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

5.1 Eligibility

Refunds, returns, and exchanges are accepted only if:

  • The item is significantly not as described (wrong item, undisclosed major defect, or incorrect specification).

  • You notify us in writing within 3 calendar days of receipt.

  • The item is returned in its original condition, without additional damage or wear.

5.2 Exchanges

  • Available subject to stock availability.

  • Price differences must be paid or refunded accordingly.

  • Exchanges processed only after inspection of the returned item.

5.3 Non-Returnable Items

  • Final sale or clearance items.

  • Items damaged post-delivery due to misuse or improper care.

  • Altered or modified items.

5.4 Return Procedure

  • Contact us at info@preloveddocs.com within 3 days of receipt.

  • Provide order number, explanation, and photos.

  • Await return authorisation before sending items back.

  • Unapproved returns will not be accepted.

5.5 Return Shipping

  • Customers bear return shipping costs unless due to our error.

  • Use tracked and insured shipping; we’re not liable for lost returns.

5.6 Refund Processing

  • Refunds issued after item inspection and approval.

  • Processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless our error.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All website content is owned by Preloved Docs and protected by law.
6.2 You may not copy or reproduce our content without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
7.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
8.2 Disputes should first be resolved through direct negotiation.
8.3 Legal proceedings must be filed in courts of South Africa.

9. Amendments

9.1 We may update these Terms at any time without notice.
9.2 Changes apply to purchases made after the updated Terms are posted.
